RBFTP is a free, open-source FTP Client.

RBFTP has been tested on:
Windows XP
MacOS X 10.2 (PPC)
Redhat Linux (File uploads do not work)
RBFTP has been tested with the following types of servers:
Windows (IIS)
Linux (ProFTPd)
MacOS X
Features include:
PASV mode transfers for firewall friendliness
Multiple File Uploads
Multiple File Downloads
View and change UNIX permissions
Rename and move files and folders
Create new folders
Can be distributed as a single file executable
Can be run from a thumb drive
Features that may appear in a future version:
Ability to save preferences and host/credentials for multiple hosts.
Drop-and-insert file uploader / downloader window for easy integration into RB applications
Known issues:
Flicker and/or unresponsive UI during uploads and downloads. The multi-file upload and download code could be refactored to be event driven. Code would need to change from a tight loop that pools the sockets to the error event of the data socket.
Uploads do not work on Linux.
RBFTP can display file icons based on your systems file associatons. This functionality currently requires the MBS plugin. I have commented out the MBS calls in the source code so the MBS plugin is optional.
This project was developed over a long period of time, and I haven’t cleaned up all of the things that I did early on that I would do differently now. If there is sufficient interest, I will make another pass through the code.
Many, but not all errors, are handled gracefully.

This application is the result of a lot of hard work. You can show your appreciation and support by buying a paperback or eBook copy of The Dawning of Power.
