During my years of working as an all-around technology guy, I’ve written a lot of code. I have decided to give away the code for many of my personal projects. This page will be dedicated to those projects.
I will not be able to provide support for these projects, but if you have a question, feel free to email me. These files are provided as-is, and I cannot be held responsible if anything bad happens (not that I expect anything bad to happen).
While these apps may work properly on Mac and Linux, they have been designed primarily for Windows using REALbasic 5.5.5 for Windows. No plugins are used in these projects.
This project shows how to use sockets to connect to Dict.org and retrieve the definition of a word
This project allows you to get the operating system version from within Basic4PPC. The VB.NET source code is included and can be a great template for Basic4PPC libraries written in VB.NET.
These projects provide PASV, BINARY mode FTP transfers with progress.
